St. John's Episcopal Church Youth Group BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATIONS St. John's Youth Group kicked off Black History Month celebrations with weekly Black History presentations that will focus on biographies of famous black men and women. This will be held each Sunday until the end of February. Black History Month, or National African American History Month, is an annual celebration of achievements by black Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of African Americans in U.S. history. St. John's Episcopal Church's Youth Group activities promote our values and help build lifelong friendships. Developing and promoting youth activities is an important part of our Church.
