Stewardship Committee

The Stewardship Committee shall study and review the stewardship goals of the parish; Develop and implement
plans to achieve these goals; conduct year round stewardship programs; and consider ways to support formal ministry and mission
in parish and diocesan life. The committee meets on the first Wednesday of the month or as necessary. The St. John's
Episcopal Church's Stewardship Committee is here to help people understand the meaning of Christian stewardship and the
need to practice it in all of life. Some of the Stewardship Committee's responsibilities are as follows:
1.
To coordinate the planning and implementation of a comprehensive program of stewardship education, inspiration, and action.
2. To learn about the hopes and concerns of the congregation (as a whole and as individuals) in the area of stewardship.
3. To be familiar with the overall goals of the congregation, how these influence its stewardship programs, and
how stewardship can influence and extend these goals.
4. To link with organizations, people, and resources in
and beyond the congregation that share stewardship responsibilities and concerns.

PS 37 Christmas Community Service

Harvest Sunday
St. John's Episcopal Church celebrated Harvest Sunday on November 24th during and after mass. Thanks
to everyone who took part in this special occasion by donating baked goods, canned food, fruits and vegetable and so much
more. Your generous donations will be going to families in need during the Thanksgiving celebrations. Thanks to St. John's
"Little Angels" for their special praise dance performance! God Bless you all.
